The 2008 Sikh Games will be held August 2nd and 3rd at the North Bunswick High School. We will begin practice for the older age group on Sunday May 11th and for all age groups on Sunday June 1st. Attached please find a copy of the Medical Release Form, Participant Interest Form and Sikh Games Practice Schedule. Parents and children must be in agreement with all rules and sign the medical release form prior to beginning practice. Sikh Game Updates will be posted periodically and announced at Sunday diwan. We will have Sikh Sabha T-Shirts for ALL registered walkers.

Last year Sikh Sabha had about 40 registered walkers and raised nearly $2,800.00 for WalkAmerica - it is a great cause for Healthy Babies. Let us do it for the Kids - todays and tomorrows.

The Lawrenceville Gurudwara Sahib celebrated Vaisakhi with a very special four day program. The program started Friday the 11th with the arambhta of the Akhand Paath at 5 am and our Friday divan at 7 pm. Saturday morning the Gurudwara held its second Amrit Sanchar ceremony in 6 months where 5 members of the sadh sangat took khandeh bateh da amrit. Sunday was the bhog of the Akhand Paath followed by the changing of the Guru Ghars Nishaan Sahib vaastars. Tonight, April 14th we commemorate the birth of the khalsa with a special keertan divan from 7 - 10 p.m. by our Hazoori Raagi Jatha Bhai Parkash Singh Jee and Jatha.

Guru Sahib Dee Sajee Nivaajee Saadh Sangat nu, Vaisakhi dee lakh lakh vadayee hoveh!! Let’s commemorate this day of the Birth of the Khalsa Panth by doing even more naam simran and reading more bani!
